Let your soul be flooded with music as Alan Syliboy and The Thundermakers present a multidisciplinary concert of charging rhythms and great heights. Drumming, songs, and spoken word are accompanied by multi-media art film as artist Alan Syliboy brings his band The Thundermakers to Bayview Community School in Mahone Bay!
Alan Syliboy is an internationally renowned Mi’kmaw artist, filmmaker, musician and social justice advocate whose works have inspired renewed community pride in Mi’kmaw culture and heritage. A recipient of the 2002 Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, Mr. Syliboy shares his creativity to engage youth and advocate for environmental sustainability, nation-building and reconciliation.
Suggested Donation is $5 at the door. An all ages community event presented by Bayview Home and School, Bayview Community School and Musique Royale.
