Summer Performance Intensive: Wizard of Oz
Youth Edition (Ages 8-19)
Kids aged 8 and up will love a chance to “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through Oz. They will laugh, sing and learn about this beloved story. Everyone registered will have the opportunity to audition, be cast, rehearse and perform in six shows at the Refinery Arts Centre.
Munchkin Edition (Ages 5-7)
Join the Munchkin ensemble and be a part of Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition. Munchkins will perform along with the full cast in 6 shows at The Refinery Arts Centre. The Munchkin Experience is a chance to experience being part of a full musical but on a smaller scale.
Preschool Camps (Ages 3 – 5)
Join a full week of half-day programs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Your child will love having the chance to sing, dance, act, craft and explore. Campers will make new friends as they create a performance to share at the end of the week. Dinosaur Discovery will be a week discovering dino-themed activities, dancing and more. Magical Adventures is for Disney fans! Kids will be introduced to dance, singing and storytelling, ending with a Magically Music Performance. Twinkle Tots introduces little dancers to Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre and will be thrilled to star in their mini-show when the week comes to a close.
Summer Stage Programs – Week-Long Programs (Ages 6-13)
Kids will be inspired and entertained as they sing, dance, act and perform. This week of programming from 9 AM to 5 PM will include crafts and outdoor activities and campers will work with professional theatre artists to explore voice, movement and drama. Classes are divided by age: 6 to 7 years old, 8 to 9 years old and 10 to 13 years old.
Children will love the different themes introduced each week and you can choose to go a camp with their favourite activities. They can choose from Hollywood Harmonies to Disney Delights to Swiftie Sensations and more!
Summer Blast Dance Intensive (Ages 6 plus)
Dance the end of summer away with the annual Summer Blast Intensive. Dancers will learn jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, progressions, and conditioning.
