I’m sad to say this but my family has never been to Whoville in the Garden – until now! We’ve decided to make it a yearly event because the lights and decorations are amazing and of course, it’s for a great cause. You can find it in the garden beside Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon. It’s free to visit but they do take financial donations, toy donations, or non-perishable food donations for RMHC-SK. This is a walking tour and we had no problem finding parking.

Whoville

My house is full of fans of the Green One and we didn’t want to miss out on our chance to do a walking tour of Whoville—a visit to see this magical place made our hearts grow larger.

Warming up

This year hasn’t been very cold but it is chilly at times. We were happy to sit next to the fire and drink some hot chocolate to warm up. They had comfy seats so we could sit and chat and watch other families walk through.

Interactive Walking Tour

It’s a short walk around the garden but it is full of fun for the kids. They had games, a tunnel for the kids to go through (I tried but I was too big) and we even had Thor, Chewbacca and Wonder Woman stop by.

Thor

We had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to visit again next year.
