Summer is supposed to be a happy time, filled with fun activities, laughing, music, and learning opportunities. At Happy Keys Piano Academy, your child will enjoy learning to play the piano in a fun and lively atmosphere with exciting themed camps for ages 4.5 to 14 years old!
For over 18 years, Happy Keys Piano Academy has been inspiring children and youth as they learn musicality, chords, rhythm, keys and music notation. At Happy Keys Piano Academy, the experienced instructors blend light-hearted, fun, and upbeat teaching with skills that will set children and youth up for success as they progress. Children ages 3-18 report that when they are having fun and enjoying their learning, they pick up skills quicker and have a greater desire to practice outside of camps and lessons.
Summer camps at Happy Keys Piano Academy are memorable and meaningful, and children excitedly ask to sign up for more classes as they see the direct correlation between the lessons they are taught in the camps, and their increased ability to play the songs they love. Each camp is grouped according to age and skill and features a different theme per week. As an added benefit, children who enroll for summer camps find they are much more prepared to slide directly into regular weekly lessons in the Fall and have already developed a connection with their instructor in a fun and meaningful way.
Jr. Piano Pals (Ages 4.5 – 6): This camp is best suited for those who are brand new to the piano, or those with less than 1 year experience. Each camp will introduce students to melodies through music that aligns with the theme and incorporate dance to learn beats and rhythm. At the end of each week, students will perform in a Grand Finale for family and friends to showcase what they have learned over the week.

Piano Pals (Ages 7-11): Students enrolled in this camp receive accelerated lessons of 10 regular weekly lessons in just one week of camp! This makes it ideal for those wanting to get ahead or improve their current abilities in time for Fall lessons. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt, a method book from Piano Express Program, a ‘bring a friend’ free voucher, and a Summer Term membership to ‘Piano Maestro’ by JoyTunes. Each summer camp will teach participants how to play a selection of music while they learn the fundamentals of musicality. Through games, dance, and crafts, students will experience the joy of learning to play piano!
Escape Room Piano Camp: July 8-12 or August 12-16| 1:30pm-4:30pm
Pop Mashup: July 15-19 or August 19-23 | 9:30am-12:30pm
Teaching Assistant Training Camp:
At Happy Keys Piano Summer Camps, your child will be enrolled in a small class size with only 6 participants per teacher, ensuring individualized instruction to ensure success. Students are encouraged to grow at their own pace and will be given increasingly challenging material as they progress.
