Raise your swords for more fun this Fall with Academie Duello! If your child is looking for something unique and engaging to enroll in this Fall, look no further than the Knight Academie. Students will journey back into the Middle Ages for authentic knight training in the Historical Martial Arts of Europe.

Academie Duello classes are a favourite amongst students. In fact, their summer camps have consistently been voted “Best Children’s Camp” by the Georgia Strait,  Knight Academie is the only authentic knight school for children (ages 8-14) in Canada and boasts a beautiful 5000-square-foot facility in Downtown Vancouver. At Knight Academie, children will receive a unique and immersive experience in medieval swordplay in a fun and engaging environment. Whether you’re a novice or have some experience with swordplay, Academie Duello’s experienced instructors will guide you through an exciting curriculum designed to develop your skills, enhance your knowledge and instill the virtues of honour, integrity, and courage in your quest to become a knight.

The Fall programs are 12 weeks in length and take students through a comprehensive tutorship from paggio (page) to Cavalieri su Veglia (Knight on Vigil) as they progress through their knight training. Over the course of the 12 weeks, students will engage in over 12 hours of archery training, Knightly Virtue lessons using Virtue Quest, drills and skills to work on at home, sparring practice and tournaments, and a Battle Day on the last class of the term. Additionally, students will receive 12 hours of weapons training in longsword, sword & shield, and polearms. Not only will your child be physically active during the training, but they will also be increasing their historical knowledge and character development.
