The 2026 Spring Break Camps provide young people with the opportunity to discover new artistic passions in the disciplines of art, design, dance, theatre, music, and film.
Arts Umbrella is the pre-eminent arts educational facility in British Columbia. Since 1979, Arts Umbrella has provided more than 500,000 young Canadians with profound life experiences through its commitment to innovation, excellence, and inclusivity. In April 2021, Arts Umbrella moved into its new home on Granville Island. The 50,000-square-foot building dedicated to arts education for young people features state-of-the-art studio, exhibition, and performance spaces to inspire future generations. What makes Arts Umbrella special is not only the breadth of its course offerings, but also the variety of classes for different ages. Children aged 3- teenagers up to 19 years old can find classes that inspire them through experiential, hands-on learning.
The Granville Island location has many Spring Break Camps running and includes camps from Art & Design, Theatre, Music and Film, and special Intensives for students eager to dive head-first into in-depth, explorative, and rigorous training. Each week is divided into morning camps and afternoon camps. Here are just a few of the exciting camps being offered:

Have a child who wants to try a dance class but is nervous about signing up for a full year? Look no further than Spring Break Dance Camps! Happening during the first week (March 16-20), students with little to no dance experience can learn the fundamentals of ballet, jazz, and modern dance taught by exceptional core faculty in a supportive environment. The camps are divided by age (6-9), (9-13), (13-18), so all students can learn alongside their peers who are at the same level.

Morning and afternoon packages are available, with an optional supervised lunch add-on. Lunch transitions for students registered for both morning and afternoon camps are complimentary and include supervision.
