Eden West Gourmet is not only a great place to find any kitchen needs, but they offer incredible cooking demonstrations, hands-on cooking workshops, and camps for kids and teens. Their schedule is jam-packed with everything from Holiday Baking to Croissant Classes and Cozy Comfort Food. These demonstrations make for a fun evening as you watch one of the talented professional chefs prepare a scrumptious meal, and then you get to enjoy it! You may even try to recreate it yourself at home using the recipes and techniques you learned. These demonstrations are best for the adults in your life, but kids 12 and up are welcome to come to the baking hands-on classes, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. The classes also make a great gift for those hard-to-buy-for foodie types.
The demonstration dinners are just like a gourmet night at a restaurant, but with the live show of a chef cooking it all in front of you! Come to eat, learn, relax and socialize– alone, in a couple, with friends, or with family. There is also the opportunity to book your own private party with your chosen menu.
If you’re looking to spark a love of cooking at a younger age, Eden West Gourmet also offers cooking classes as spring and summer camps and for special occasions that are geared toward ages 8-12 and teens. These classes are specifically designed to give kids the skills necessary to recreate some of their favourite meals at home using all fresh ingredients. They will have fun while learning valuable kitchen skills from professional chefs.
Eden West Gourmet publishes their cooking classes about 2 months in advance, so you can register your friends and family for a January class and give them the gift of experience for Christmas. Alternatively, a gift card makes a great gift for the recipient to enroll in the class of their choice later on in the year!
