Fall is here, and that means it’s apple season! In Metro Vancouver, we don’t have as many apple-picking events and orchards as our friends out East do, but that doesn’t mean the West Coast can’t enjoy crisp apples! Families everywhere are heading to orchards and farms to enjoy the simple joy of picking apples right from the tree. From tractor rides and apple treats to fun festivals filled with games and music, these events are the perfect way to spend time together and make lasting memories.

Apple Days | September 13 & 14
Head to Greendale Acres for Apple Days, a weekend packed with crisp apples, cozy country fun, and family-friendly activities. Enjoy cider tastings, live music, tractor displays, face painting, and plenty of fresh apple treats to celebrate the season!
Apple Harvest Festival | September 21
Visit Haney House to celebrate all things APPLES! Enjoy apple samples from Haney House’s orchard, apple cider, crafts and games. This event is part of Culture Days.
UBC Apple Festival | October 18 & 19
A family event for all ages, the UBC Apple Festival celebrates one of British Columbia’s favourite fruits. From children learning about the diversity of apples to those who remember tasting heritage apples in their youth, the Apple Festival is a great opportunity to not only discover more about this delicious fruit, but have a whole lot of fun doing it! Kids 0-7 are free for entry, but a ticket is still required.
