This year marks the seventh annual Family Day in British Columbia. Spend it with your clan by going back in time for a unique family experience at the Historic Stewart Farm in South Surrey. The popular historic landmark will host a free, fun-filled drop-in event for all ages, doing various activities and sampling our baking from the woodstove. Visitors are encourage to explore the picturesque grounds and charming farm house, which tells the story of an early Surrey pioneer family (the Stewarts) that lived on the site from 1889 to 1994.
When you open the original stained glass door, the smell of baking on the wood stove will invite you in. Costumed staff will greet you, offering information and a tour or the option to tour on your own. The antique floor boards will creak beneath your step as you imagine a family laughing, dining and living in the house. With scenic water views and lots of space for children to run on the property, the Historic Stewart Farm offers all the makings of a memorable Family Day.
Admission to this event is FREE.
