Whether you remember the Flower Power era or you have little ones who want to add a little pizazz to their outfit, Central City’s Flower Crown Bar is a popular event. Embrace the beauty of fresh florals from Flowers Canada Growers and unleash your creativity in this unique family-friendly experience. The talented staff will help you select the best blooms to showcase your individual style and teach you how to weave the stems together to create a flower crown that is uniquely you. This event is great for all ages and best of all– it’s completely FREE! The event runs from February 8-10, 2024, and is located in the mall across from the Starbucks. The Flower Crown Bar is open from 10am-6pm daily, allowing for ample time for your crew to craft your creation, run your errands, and complete your Flower Power look with some new threads care of the shops at Central City.
Stroll through Central City feeling like royalty as you check out the Celebration of Colour mural by artist Sandeep Johal conveniently located near the children’s play area and Winners. Then, walk the beautifully painted stairs, by Semiahmoo First Nation artist Leslie Wells, and take Instagram-worthy photos of your gorgeous flower crowns. Make a day out of it and grab lunch in the food court before wrapping up your shopping and errands. It’s a fun-filled day for your kids and teens and a chance for parents to tick everything off their lists.
