I thoroughly enjoyed the first Frozen movie but I loved Frozen II. And when I say loved I’m not exaggerating. I took my family to see the movie TWICE in less than 24 hours on opening weekend. So you can only imagine how excited I am about getting my own copy of Frozen II!
Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf are back for Frozen II with new songs (amazing songs that you will sing over and over), a wonderful message of family and love, and some truly delightful dialogue that will have you laughing out loud.
The digital in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD Frozen II includes bonus features such as deleted scenes, deleted songs, Easter eggs, outtakes, and a sing-a-long version with lyrics to the film’s already beloved tunes. There are behind-the-scenes, making-of-stories with the cast and crew of the beloved movie.
Now if you somehow missed seeing the movie in the theatres, we don’t want to be blamed for sharing spoilers so we will only give you highlights from the movie plot. Elsa, hearing a beautiful, haunting voice, is drawn out of Arendelle north towards the Enchanted Forest and the Northuldra tribe. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf encounter enraged elemental spirits – Fire, Earth, Water, and Air – and quickly learn their path involves calming the spirits and learning about the source of Elsa’s powers.
Olaf has one of the best lines in the movie. Our family has integrated “Samantha?” into our daily lexicon. The entire movie combines great whimsy with wonderful poignancy and meaning. While Frozen II is a sequel, it is a movie that stands on its own and is (gasp, dare I say it) my favourite of the two productions.
