Inlet Park is Port Moody’s newest playground and sports recreation facility and it is full of potential for all seasons!

With the first and second phases of the Inlet Park Redevelopment Project complete, visitors are invited to check out the facilities and try the new playgrounds. The high-quality, all-weather artificial turf field boasts a FIFA-regulation field for adult soccer games, 3-smaller soccer pitches for kids and teens with wide endzones and sidelines, batting cages, and 2 baseball diamonds. The best part? There are covered and uncovered places for parents and spectators to watch their kids play.Inlet Park Climbing

If you’ve ever tried to watch a soccer or baseball game with a toddler or small child in tow, you will appreciate the FENCED tot lot located conveniently *right next to the field*! No more choosing between chasing the toddler or watching older kids play! The tot lot is pretty sparse with a small hut, a teeter-totter, and a ride-on toy, but it has a soft rubber pad underneath so crawlers can move about without you worrying about them putting rocks or wood chips in their mouths.

But the BEST part is the all-natural playground at the far end of the field. Made almost entirely from wood and rope, this playground is great for school-aged kids and tweens who are looking to practice their climbing and balancing skills. There are tons of wood structures for climbing and a giant ladder that leads up to a great slide.

There are a decent number of parking spaces available at Inlet Park, and temporary public washrooms are currently under construction. Other public washrooms are located at Rocky Point Park about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take a quick lunch break across the street at Mama Said Pizza. There are plenty of other cafes and restaurants located a short walk away, and the park itself is accessible by Skytrain (get off at Moody Centre Station) or by bus.
