On the first Saturday in December Langley City will once again host it’s annual Magic of Christmas Event featuring breakfast with Santa, live entertainment, crafts for kids, letters to Santa, a parade, tree lighting and carolling.
Breakfast with Santa (9am – 11am, Douglas Recreation Centre 20550 Douglas Crescent)
Breakfast with the jolly old elf himself! Enjoy crafts, face painting, a magic show and of course breakfast. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, juice, tea and coffee. Entertainment and Crafts (4pm – 6pm, McBurney Plaza 20518 Fraser Highway)
Come out and join in on the FREE family pre-parade festivities.
Parade (6pm – 7pm, Fraser Highway 56th Avenue to 207th Street)
The Magic of Christmas Parade features over 50 entries consisting of festive floats, bands, decorated vehicles, carollers, dance troupes, and community groups. The parade will start at Fraser Highway and 56th Avenue (at 6:00 pm), travel east along Fraser Highway, and finish at Fraser Highway and 207th Street.
Tree Lighting and Carolling (7pm – 7:30pm)
