Have an out-of-this-world experience with “The Summer of Space” summer camps at Science World!

Inspired by NASA’s Artemis II mission, campers entering Grades 1 – 8 will learn new ideas from coding and robotics to fascinating facts about NASA’s rocket missions. Each week-long camp includes electrifying live science shows, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops about space. Of course, no camp is complete without fun camp games! 

Camps are led by experienced educators passionate about making science fun and accessible to all ages. Through interactive exploration and play, campers will learn, build, and experiment with science.

The theme of each age group varies, but each week features the same exciting activities:

Brilliant Beginnings (Grade 1 – born in 2019): Explore all things light and colour, inside and outside, from the smallest cells to the farthest planets.

Force Explorers (Grade 2 & 3 – born in 2017 & 2018): Emerging scientists will discover the science of heat, motion and flight. 

Astro Academy (Grade 4 & 5 – born in 2015 & 2016):  Dive into the mysteries of the solar system! Campers will consider what it would take to sustain life in outer space.

Beyond the Stars (Grade 6, 7 & 8 – born 2012 to 2014):  Campers will take part in enquiry-based projects, coding, and scientific investigation to create something out of this world!
