The popular Spooktacular Newton is back, and this year it’s bigger, sillier, and spookier than ever! This FREE family-friendly event is one of Surrey’s most anticipated Halloween celebrations, bringing the community together in a fun, inclusive atmosphere that makes Newton an even kinder, stronger, and more welcoming place for everyone.
Kick off the day with faBOOlous trick-or-treating and fill your candy bag as you visit vendors and booths throughout the event. Then, climb aboard the haunted train for a spooktacular ride that drops you off right at the ultimate Kids Zone, complete with face painting, bouncy castles, and games to keep your little ghouls and goblins entertained all day long. If your family fancies a little friendly competition, test your skills and focus with a round of mini golf. Then, grab a bite to eat from one of the many food truck vendors on site, or pick up a variety of foods to share amongst your crew. Afterwards, explore the community booths to discover what’s happening right here in Newton. The main stage will be alive all day with thrilling Spooktacular performances by City Entertainment, keeping the festive energy going strong
Before the day wraps up, don’t miss a visit to the Urban Pumpkin Patch, featuring over 1,000 pumpkins waiting to be picked! Choose your perfect pumpkin on the way out, and be sure to donate money or non-perishable food items to the Surrey Food Bank. All proceeds go back to support community members facing food insecurity.
Finally, strike a pose at the photobooth and capture a fang-tastic memory of your day before heading home. Please note that parking near the event is limited, and visitors are encouraged to take transit to help reduce congestion on local streets. Don’t miss Spooktacular Newton on October 25th.
