Alberta became a province on September 1, 1905, and September 1 has now been declared ‘Alberta Day.’ You can celebrate what makes this province special with family fun at Heritage Park on August 31, 2025, including all-day entertainment, a market, and a kids’ zone. The event is FREE, but it’s best to pre-register. Also, there is an extra fee for the antique midway rides and the S. S. Moyie.

There is no on-site parking on this day, but there is a free shuttle service and parking available from the Anderson LRT station.

You can find other events around the province here, including events for Alberta Culture Days.
