We all could use some extra cash over the holiday season, right? Or, at the very least, some AIR MILES Cash! AIR MILES Cash can be used at participating Sponsors just like money to purchase all of the things you need over the holidays — from gifts to the groceries that you need to prepare your holiday feast!

AIR MILES Cash is a program feature that gives collectors added flexibility as to how their AIR MILES reward miles are earned and redeemed. All you have to do is set your AIR MILES Cash option in your preferences and AIR MILES reward miles will be allocated into either your AIR MILES Cash or AIR MILES Dream balance, or a combination of the two. Reward miles that go into your Cash balance can be used for instant redemption in-store at participating retailers.

Because the holidays can be a tight time for all of us, we want to help you to get the most of your rewards programs over the next month, when it really counts. This December you can earn even more AIR MILES than usual. AIR MILES collectors in Ontario and Western Canada will receive 25 bonus reward miles for every AIR MILES Cash redemption per sponsor, per day from December 6 to 24. The same deal applies to members in Atlantic Canada and Quebec from December 5 to 24.

Where can you spend your AIR MILES Cash? The program offers you more flexibility than ever before, letting you spend them at a variety of participating Sponsors across the country. Whether you’re buying your Christmas turkey at Safeway or stuffing your kids’ stockings, there are plenty of places that you’re already planning to shop at over the holidays that will accept your AIR MILES Collector card. And don’t forget, even if you’re not using your AIR MILES Cash rewards while shopping at participating sponsors you’ll still be earning miles at all AIR MILES Sponsor locations in your area. While you’re shopping, if you rack up 95 AIR MILES Cash rewards you’ll be able to them immediately for $10 to spend in-store, with a limit of $750 per day.

So, go into your AIR MILES preferences and choose the AIR MILES Cash option if you’re ready to save over the holidays. And don’t forget to pull out your AIR MILES Collector card (and if you have one, your AIR MILES-affiliated credit card!). Especially this time of year, the rewards add up more quickly than you’d think and can make your holiday that much merrier.
