Alien In-Line Summer Camps: Plan a Summer That’s Out of This World!

Want a summer camp that’s out of this world? We found one! Alien In-Line is known throughout Calgary for introducing and refining the sport of inline skating. They frequently visit schools, and kids love gym class even more than usual when Alien is at their school. But you can keep the fun and fitness going all summer long, with Alien In-line summer camps!

Alien In-Line teaches everything from the basics of inline skating to cool tricks kids can master at their level. Additionally, as kids practice their inline skating, they develop basic skating skills and general techniques that can easily be applied to other sports. Inline skating principles and games give kids proficiency in all types of skating. Plus, it promotes an active life, which benefits everyone. A summer camp that revolves around inline skating is loads of fun for one week and then provides a lifetime of useful skills!

Summer Camps

Alien In-Line Summer Skate Camps offer exceptional programming for your kids, led by experienced and engaging instructors. Each week begins with introducing and reviewing fundamental skating instruction, from proper fit and protective gear to warmups and basic skills. Kids will improve quickly with two 90-minute skating sessions a day. In between, kids will enjoy traditional camp activities (and much-needed break times!).

With significant time spent on skate activities and terrific games on skates to make it even more fun, each child will develop amazing skating skills. They’ll be ready to show off their unique tricks at the end of the week. A low skater-to-instructor ratio ensures every child will get the attention they need. An Alien In-Line summer camp gives your child skills for a lifetime of active enjoyment.

Alien In-Line Summer Skate Camps are offered for ages 6 – 8 and 9 – 12 at eight locations in Calgary over eight weeks. Find one near you! Camps run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothes for skating and moving. Bring a good lunch, because all that activity makes a kid hungry! If you have your own skates and protective gear, that’s great, but you can also rent the equipment from Alien In-Line.
