All Sport One Day is an amazing opportunity for kids from all over the city to be exposed to sports that they haven’t had the opportunity to try! Originally this year, it was scheduled for June but had to be cancelled. Now it’s back, with an extended edition, so children ages 6 – 17 can discover a new sport, for FREE. These introductory sports sessions will take place in a smaller group setting with an emphasis on the safe return to sport.
It’s not every day that kids can try a new activity for FREE! And who knows, they just might love it and find a new favourite activity. Some of the sports include basketball, speedskating, karate, hockey, soccer, and fencing. So come on out and try something new, courtesy of the City of Calgary and its recreation partners!
NOTE: Pre-registration is required this year, with no drop-ins permitted. Participants will be required to register in advance, complete a waiver, and complete the Alberta Health Services screening questionnaire, and comply with sport organization requirements.
