All Sport One Day is an amazing opportunity for kids from all over the city to be exposed to sports that they haven’t had the opportunity to try! Normally scheduled in June, 2021 brings you an extended edition all September, so children ages 6 – 17 can more easily discover a new sport, for FREE. These introductory sports sessions will take place in a smaller group setting with an emphasis on the safe return to sport.
It’s not every day that kids can try a new activity for FREE! And who knows, they just might love it and find a new favourite activity. The sports could include basketball, speedskating, karate, hockey, soccer, and fencing. So come on out and try something new, courtesy of the City of Calgary and its recreation partners!
NOTE: Pre-registration is required this year, with no drop-ins permitted. Participants will be required to register in advance, complete a waiver, and complete the Alberta Health Services screening questionnaire, and comply with sport organization requirements.
Find out more and get on the newsletter list for more information here. The schedule for the month goes live on August 18 and registration is open on August 25.
