Located in Canyon Meadows in SW Calgary, Amazearts art studio offers art classes for kids from 3 to 15 years old, as well as homeschool art classes, adult art classes, PD day camps and summer day camps!

Art instruction at Amazearts takes place in a classroom format; classes include use of all professional art materials needed plus access to the art reference library. In addition to offering high quality skills instruction, Amazearts is a fun place where kids get to express themselves creatively. The focus of all art classes at Amazeart is on helping young artists discover their personal style and learn about principles of art, fundamentals, form, perspective, value, tone, texture and the techniques used across all art mediums.

This summer, help your child unleash their creativity… Amazearts has planned a fantastic selection of 1/2-day art camps for kids aged 5 to 13:

Camp 1: July 4-8 – Fashion Design & Polymer Clay Jewelry

Young fashionistas will learn about fashion design – including how to draw like a fashion designer using the circle tube method – and using various media like pencil, pen, ink and more. They’ll also learn how to make polymer clay beads!

Camp 2: July 11-15 – Disney Animation Drawing & Polymer Clay Sculptures

Fans of Disney & Pixar movies will love learning all about the creation of animated characters, including cut out characters, flip book animation, clay structures and more. Each day will focus on an animated movie and give the kids the opportunity to recreate some of its characters!

Camp 3: July 18-22 – Star Wars Canvas Painting & Clay

Campers will learn various acrylic techniques and apply them to complete a canvas painting and much more. Each day will focus on a Star Wars animated character, including sculpting the characters in clay!

Camp 4: August 8-12: Hotel Transylvania Canvas Painting & Clay

Applying the acrylic techniques they are taught, participants will complete a canvas painting and much more. Each day will focus on a Hotel Translyvania animated character, including the use of clay to sculpt the characters!

Camp 5: August 15-19 – Disney Animation Drawing & Polymer Clay Sculptures

Camp 6: August 22-26 – Fashion Design & Polymer Clay Jewelry

Amazearts also offers family workshops, fundraiser parties and creative birthday parties! With options like soap making, yoga & art, t-shirt painting, glass painting and mosaic art (plus many others), one of these party themes is sure to be hit for your child and their friends.
