Kids can meet cold-blooded creatures like bearded dragons, geckos, and snakes. They might even hang out with a boa constrictor, tarantulas, or scorpions!
Calgary Reptile Parties Summer Camps
Summer camps with Calgary Reptile Parties are offered for kids entering grade one to those completing grade 6. You can choose from two locations. Camps in the north meet at St. Andrews Heights Community Centre (by McMahon Stadium), and camps in the south meet at Park 96 on Parkland Blvd.
What does summer camp look like? Kids will play games, do crafts, and, of course, meet all kinds of reptiles over their week of camp! With over 50 species of animals, they’ll find fascinating creatures and a unique window into the world of reptiles.
Camps run from 9 AM – 4 PM, and before and aftercare is available for a fee. There are four different camp themes to choose from, so your little reptile lover could attend more than one camp and never get bored!
Camp Goes Old School
Reptile Camp originally began with a simple theme: each day, campers meet animals from different families. Get ready for Lizard Day, Amphibian and Invert Day, Turtle Day, and Snake Day.
Reptile World Tour
Reptiles are found on every continent (except Antarctica). Grab your passport and let’s go meet animals from North and South America, Australia, and Africa.
Adventures in Adaptation (South Only)
It’s amazing how animals adapt. How does a leopard gecko survive in the desert? Why does a tortoise have a shell? How does a snake kill its prey? It’s time to explore the adaptations of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates!
