Kids go WILD for birthday parties, no matter the age! Wondering how to make your next birthday party special, without the stress and the mess in your living room? Plan a Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo birthday party, where your little ones can have a roaring time with the lions, visit with the penguins, or marvel at the dinosaurs. It’s the perfect venue for kids of all ages, complete with their closest friends and their favourite animals. The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo is an inner-city oasis with easy access from each part of the city. With over 1,000 animals from all over the world to see and learn about, it’s a great place to visit for everyday fun and for special occasions, like birthday parties.
Birthday party packages at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo are available on Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the year. All birthday parties are 1.5 hours long and start at 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., or 3:30 p.m. The price is $30 per person for anyone age three and up, and includes day admission tickets and a birthday meal. The meal includes a main option, a side, a juice box, a cookie, and a small toy for each guest (please note: you must order a minimum of ten). You can choose from one of three fun and zoo-nique locations, indoors or outdoors, and the zoo even supplies you with basic birthday party decorations.
If you want to add a little extra fun to your party, the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo also offers a variety of enhancements. Add on gift bags for the guests, spring for carousel rides, or expand your food options, including adding cupcakes (all you need to do is bring the candles!). You can also hire a face painter — perfect for embellishing your little wild ones.
Easy birthday party planning? No stress and mess to clean up afterwards? No sugar-hyped kids running wild in your living room? That’s because the best birthday parties are at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo, where your child can celebrate their big day with their friends and their favourite animals! Because really, what’s better than seeing a hippo and a western lowland gorilla during your birthday party?
