There’s a new reason to go to Red Deer this summer! The Canyon Ski Resort has put in an Alpine Roller Coaster, and they open on May Long Weekend, so get ready to race through trees on a thrilling ride!
The Canyon Coaster is over 1300 metres in length and can reach speeds of up to 40 km/hour. Riders will be able to control their speed with a brake. Children as young as 3 can ride with someone 16 years or older. Passengers (ages 3 – 8) must be no taller than the driver’s shoulders and have a minimum height of 3’2”. To ride alone, you must be 8 years old and at least 4’1″.
