What’s messy, delicious, and totally worth it? Kids in the kitchen! Many kids are naturally drawn to baking and cooking, with its connections to both science and creativity. This summer, be sure to nurture those interests with the Lambert Academy of Sugarcraft summer camps, a terrific experience that kids ages 9 to 14 years will love.
Long a provider of baking and decorating classes, Lambert Academy has expanded their kids’ camps to also include cooking food like pizza, a perennial favourite for any age. The classes are kept small to promote creativity and all supplies, tools, and equipment are supplied for use during class. All your child needs to bring are indoor shoes, a small box to take home all the creative works of art, and a great attitude!
There’s a full summer planned at Lambert Academy of Sugarcraft, as they are offering a variety of camps on select days and weeks throughout July and August. Kids can join a 5-Day Sculpted Cake, Cookies, Pizza & Cinnamon Bunz camp and a 3-Day Sculpted Cakes camp. If you’re tight on time or just testing out baking and cooking, there are also 1-day camps, like the 1-Day Pizza and Cinnamon Buns camp or the 1-Day Mini Pies camp.
The Lambert Academy of Sugarcraft will give your child the opportunity to develop real-life skills in the kitchen, creating their own masterpiece from scratch. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn essential kitchen skills, including food safety and cleaning up after themselves. These camps inspire imagination, foster creativity, and help develop an understanding of kitchen etiquette. Kids will learn that the kitchen is a fun and inspiring place to be as they develop self-confidence and learn how to work with others. Most importantly, they’ll have a lot of fun!
Camps run from 10 am – 3 pm. If you need more care, kids can join the Early Bird Breakfast Club, beginning at 8 am or stay after the camp for the After Hours Hangout Club, which ends at 5 pm.
