The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra has grown to be one of Canada’s most celebrated live music ensembles. Led by Music Director Rune Bergmann, the Calgary Phil presents classical standards, pop favourites, bold collaborations, and cutting-edge new works. They also attract world-renowned guest artists and dynamic conductors. In a typical season, the Orchestra welcomes over 100,000 visitors to the concert hall and reaches audiences around the world through its free and accessible digital programming and live-stream initiative — an immersive, online concert experience that launched in 2017.

At various points throughout the year, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra presents Symphony Sundays, a symphony experience specially designed for children, so families will want to check that out. But there are other concerts that children may enjoy, especially older kids, and they will be listed here, although this is by no means a comprehensive list. Highlights often include concerts that play orchestral scores to popular movies. We will list specific concerts below that might be of interest to families, but you’ll always find more on their website.

At this time, Calgary Phil has reduced capacity at their venues. For the protection of audience members and staff, masks are required inside the venues and must be worn over the nose, mouth, and chin. You will find more information about the health and safety measures at

All concerts are at Jack Singer Concert Hall unless otherwise listed.
