Otafest – Calgary’s Anime Convention is back in Calgary this spring! This popular festival will be held May 19 – 21, 2023, celebrating Japanese art, culture, and media in the Canadian community. You can look forward to a marketplace & art exhibition, media guests, video gaming and competitions, cosplay showcases, musical concerts, improv and live performances, educational panels about Japanese culture, and of course, anime screenings. It is best to pre-purchase your tickets; on May 20, admission is only open to advance ticket holders.
