Run, jump, tumble, and play — it’s almost time for the final bell to ring, those school doors to swing open, and for the summer fun to begin! Of course, sometimes a successful summer takes a bit of planning, but Pegasus Gymnastics makes it easy, with active and fun summer camps! Whether your child is a beginner, advanced, or somewhere in between, they’ll find a place to play and thrive.
Pegasus Gymnastics is a family-owned and operated gymnastics club with two locations in Calgary. The summer camps and summer classes are being offered only at the EAST Location. Their mission is to teach quality gymnastics in a family-friendly environment, where athletes, coaches, and parents all work together. Pegasus Gymnastics helps make dreams come true, and they ensure the well-being of every athlete, physically, mentally, and emotionally. They believe in developing confident, disciplined, and responsible children through the sport of gymnastics, helping them become the well-rounded adults of the future.
No matter the level, gymnastics is a sport that will benefit every child or young athlete, with strength, balance, and flexibility, plus the encouragement of friendly coaches will inspire everyone who walks through the door. All kids age four and up are invited to check out the summer camps at Pegasus Gymnastics, running weekly from July 10 – September 1, 2023. Kids will have fun and be challenged in every class. Come back and sign up for multiple weeks, they can look forward to different themes every week to keep the summer exciting.
The Pegasus Gymnastics weekly summer camps include gymnastics circuits, crafts, and activities that revolve around the weekly theme. All the camps will have gymnastics and sports components, which will consist of floor, bars, beam, vault, trampolines, and more. Time will also be set aside each day for exploration and free play. Themes include Stampede & Rodeo, Pegasus Ninja Warrior, Under the “Big Top”, Superhero Training Camp, LEGO, and Science & Space. All levels and abilities are welcome!
Pegasus Gymnastics makes it easy for parents. You can choose the schedule that works best for you and your family’s summer plans. Register for half-day or full-day options. The camps run from 9 am to 4 pm for full days and 9 am – 12 pm or 1 – 4 pm for half days. Plus, before and after care is included with your camp registration fee, with before care starting at 8:30 am and ending at 4:30 pm! (You just need to pre-register for the before and aftercare.)
Pegasus also offers a specialty summer camp, a Flip and Twist Trampoline class (ages 9 and up), that runs 1 – 4 pm from Monday to Thursday on select weeks. This camp does have some prerequisites for basic trampoline skills.
