With the Royal City Soccer Club summer camps, your kids will spend their days playing soccer and other games, swimming, and making new friends. Since 1993, the Royal City Soccer Club has provided children with a marvellous summer experience. As a registered non-profit community organization, the Royal City Soccer Club is the largest grassroots summer soccer camp in Canada, with 100 locations in 6 provinces. They offer a uniquely designed camp that offers a soccer focus in the morning, followed by a leisure swim (subject to availability and safety ratios) and traditional camp activities in the afternoon. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to be safely cared for while enjoying an idyllic summer.
Boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 13 can register for the full day, from 9 am to 4 pm. Drop-off times can be as early as 8:30 am and pickup times are available up to 4:30 pm, at no extra charge. If you need extended care, you can drop your child off at 8 am or pick up by 5 pm for a nominal fee. If preferred, you can register your child for only the morning sessions from 9 am – 12 pm. Morning sessions are dedicated to soccer skills, drills, and scrimmages.
Royal City Soccer camp staff are enthusiastic and dedicated to providing your child with a positive, fun, and safe atmosphere. Staff are thoroughly interviewed, trained, and have all undergone a police background check, and they know how to get kids moving, laughing, and enjoying their summer. With an inclusive, engaging atmosphere, and a program that fosters the development of individual skills, team building, and life skills, kids will also learn leadership, problem-solving, and working with others.
Many campers attend multiple weeks and some even attend the entire summer. Royal City’s reasonable summer camp rates include a camp soccer ball, a t-shirt, and a medal for each participant. And because they have 12 locations throughout Calgary, they are also SO convenient! Plus, before March 31, 2023, receive an early bird discount and receive a discount of $30 off per week for full-day sessions or $15 off per week for morning sessions.
