Aviation history comes to life here, with many historically significant and technologically intriguing aircraft. Learn the stories of the trailblazers who reached for the impossible and discover the pioneers who adapted aircraft for trade and recreation. Hear stories of heroes who fought for Canada from the air or adventurers who set their sights on outer space. Anyone who dreams of the skies will be inspired here!

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is May 10, 2026, and The Hangar Flight Museum welcomes you to make new memories with your family as you explore the past, present, and future of aviation history! Thoughts of flying have always fascinated humankind, and even young kids get excited to see airplanes up close! Moms can connect with their kids through the science and history of flight.

This aviation-themed Mother’s Day celebration has something for everyone. You can also add tickets for a special flowerpot painting workshop, complete with a paper airplane bouquet. These workshops will take place at 11 AM and 2 PM. Everyone can paint their own flowerpot, or you can work on one together as a Mother’s Day gift.
