Summer is the time for exploring, pursuing interests, and discovering the world around you. And this summer, it’s the time for discovering the aircraft that helped shape our country’s history! The Hangar Flight Museum is now boarding for Open Aircraft Days! Come sit inside some amazing aircraft and see the world from a different perspective.
The Hangar Flight Museum is home to Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame, which showcases the remarkable stories of the inspiring men and women who pioneered Canada’s aviation history. Learn about the trailblazers who reached for the impossible. Be inspired by the heroes who fought for Canada from the skies or by adventurers who set their sights on outer space.
Open Aircraft Days
The Hangar Flight Museum is Now Boarding! It’s amazing to see aviation history come to life, with many historically significant and technologically intriguing aircraft. But one of the most requested experiences at The Hangar is an opportunity to sit inside the aircraft for a new perspective. It’s not always possible or practical, as the planes and helicopters are historical artifacts. But with special care and preventative maintenance, Open Aircraft Days allows visitors this unique experience all summer long!
There are five different aircraft open on rotating weekends this summer, and it’s the first time the Sikorsky Dragonfly will be open! Take a look at the schedule and mark your calendars to sit in your favourite aircraft. Even better, get an annual membership! Membership rates offer a great value to check out every plane and experience all that The Hangar has to offer this summer.
