The lights, sounds, and crowds of the museum can be too overwhelming for some – but the Royal Alberta Museum has come up with a special solution. Visit one of the museum’s Sensory Sundays! This event occurs from 8 to 10 am on select Sundays – before the museum is open to the public. Noise and lighting levels will be kept lower and there will be a sensory room set up for visitors. Space for this program is limited and preregistration is required. Regular museum admission rates apply to this event and will be charged upon arrival.
