From farmer’s markets to vintage shows and artisan fairs – There is no shortage of fantastic Fall Markets in HRM this year. This is a great way to ease your family into the season, get an early start on your Christmas shopping and immerse yourself in all things festive and spooky.

Bedford Fall Market ( October 1st): Get your Fall goodies at the Bedford Fall Market. This market, a true makers market, will take place at DeWolf park on October 1st with over 20 other local vendors

Fall into Winter Craft & Vendor Show ( October 1st):It’s never too early to start planning ahead so grab your Christmas list, get ready to shop Thanksgiving goodies and look for some spooky finds at the Fall Into Winter Craft & Vendor Show.

Fall Vintage Show ( October 1st & 2nd): Let’s teach our children the joy of shopping with style and sustainability in the heart of downtown Halifax. Find unique clothing or treasures for your little one’s room at the city’s best Vintage Show.

Farm Fest ( October 8th):This family-friendly, daytime event has activities for the whole family. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the Rose & Kettle Tearoom and the nearby museum buildings and animal barns will be open for your family to explore.

The Supernova Market (October 15th):Join The Supernova Market for an unforgettable day of shopping in a vendor marketplace full of artists, crafters, designers and more. This family-friendly event will be live music and offers free admission.

Halloween Town Market (October 15th):Head down to Halifax Brewery Farmers Market to shop over 30 local vendors at the Halloween Town Market. You can trick or treat at each vendor table while taking in the decor, face painting, costumes live music & much more.

Market at Meader (October 16th):Market and Meander is an outdoor market happening through the summer and fall months with live music, food trucks, and many talented local vendors.

Pop-up Art Market Halloween Edition (October 16th):Be sure to put the Halloween edition of the Pop-up Art Market on your Halloween to-do list.  You’ll find lots of spooky vendors and all the spooky goods needed to get you into the holiday spirit (pun intended).

Dartmouth Handcrafters Guild Holiday Craft Show (October 21st, 22nd, 23rd):  Are you someone who likes to avoid the hustle and bustle of the holiday season by starting your shopping early? The Dartmouth Handcrafters Guild Holiday Craft Show is back to help you jump-start your holiday planning and give back to your community.

Maritime Artisans Fall Craft Fair ( October 22nd):Check out the 4th annual Maritime Artisans Fall Craft Fair in Cole Harbour. Shop local for a unique array of locally made treasures by talented artisans.

11th Annual Prospect Road Crafter’s Market (October 22nd): The 11th Annual Prospect Road Crafters’ Market is returning to the Prospect Road Community Centre with fun for the whole family. Join in over 100 crafters for their annual sale and kick-off to the Christmas season.

Harvest Greets the Holidays Expo (October 29th-30th): We all know handmade and homespun are the key ingredients for a magical holiday season.
