On the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day, head down to the waterfront for the Halifax Saint Patrick’s Day Parade! 2019 marks the 12th anniversary of the parade, which is presented by the Halifax Charitable Irish Society. The parade begins on Terminal Road and travels down Lower Water Street to Historic Properties. The parade route is 1.2 km in length and will take 25-30 minutes in total to walk.
Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank will be collecting donations of cash and non-perishable food items along the parade route.
Following the parade, make your way to the Lower Deck Waterfront for an Irish after party! (Children are welcome at the Lower Deck if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. They must be at the establishment for the purpose of a meal, and depart within 30 minute of dining.)
