Persephone Theatre Fall Classes

Do your kids love all things theatre? This September, bring all the drama to the Persephone Theatre Classes. Give your kids, youth, and teens a chance to be creative and express themselves with confidence. Persephone School of Theatre has classes designed for different age groups through the STAGES Programs, providing a progressive learning approach for students. Classes give children a chance to learn more about themselves, use their imagination, and meet some great friends who follow the same passion. You can register your children for some fun classes that start in September.

Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon operates out of the beautiful Remai Arts Centre on River Landing. They offer an extensive youth program, including a theatre school, and make spaces available for all types of community events.

What Persephone Theatre Classes Are Offered?

Discovery Stage | Ages 4-5

Discovery Kids is an interactive learning program for preschool-aged learners. Kids will gain confidence as they participate in dramatic play and have fun.

Exploration Stage | Ages 6-7

Kids can focus on storytelling and using voice and movement in the PLAYground program while building confidence or they can join the StorySTAGE Preshow to create skits and fun characters. Every week will be a different and exciting experience.

Engagement Stage | Ages 8-10

There are two programs offered for students: SHOWtime and FUNdamentals 1.

Experience Stage | Ages 11-13

Your kids will delve into some creative challenges as they work on FUNdamentals, Improv, One Act Comedy & Drama.

Empowerment Stage (Ages 14-18)

If you have a teen who is ready to follow their dreams, they can work with some theatre professionals to find where their passion lies. Programs include Once Act Plays and Improv.

Musicals

If you have a child who loves music, there will be two musical performances this fall and winter. The Junior Musical Academy will be presenting Finding Nemo Kids, and the Senior Musical Academy will be presenting How to Train Your Dragon JR.
