Spring is almost here and with it comes longer daylight hours, warmer temperatures, and a desire to spend more time outdoors! Elevate Ultimate Spring lessons will have your kids and teens interacting with one another, spending quality time outdoors, and getting in hours of physical activity, all while having a blast!

Ultimate Frisbee is quickly becoming one of the most popular sports for kids and teens due to its focus on teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship. It is the perfect sport for active kids who are looking for non-aggressive, inclusive options that focus on both physical and social development. Elevate Ultimate is great for pre-teens and teens who may not be interested or able to make their high school athletic teams but still want to remain physically active and part of a supportive team atmosphere. Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport that mixes aspects of football, basketball, and rugby. But rather than playing with a ball, the participants use a flying disc (aka Frisbee).

What makes Ultimate Frisbee unique? For starters, it is a self-refereeing sport, meaning participants are fully in charge of ensuring they adhere to the rules of the game. Because each participant is acting as a referee, everyone is responsible for calling fouls appropriately and resolving conflict throughout the game. Even tournament games are self-refereed! This helps kids and teens develop interpersonal skills and how to interact respectfully if a disagreement occurs. Fair play and FUN are paramount in Elevate Ultimate and the experienced coaches help kids learn the skills needed to be successful in the sport and life.
