Get ready for an adventure in learning with Scholars LEGO STEM Camps! If you have a child in grades K-8 who loves building, exploring, problem-solving, LEGO, and science, then this is the camp for them!
With an ever-developing and ever-changing world and workforce, children need to be well-informed in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). At the same time, it’s important to cultivate a sense of play and enjoyment, which many children do through building with LEGO. But how can one camp combine valuable learning with ultimate fun and enjoyment? Through Scholars LEGO STEM Spring Break camps! This exciting partnership between LEGO Education and Scholars means that students will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with others to spark curiosity, enhance their creativity and develop critical thinking skills— all crucial skills for a well-rounded learner.
During the half-day camps, students will experience hands-on learning through collaborative experiences. Hands-on lessons and collaborative experiments allow children to learn through play, meaning they can retain more information and understand concepts better through ‘doing’. Through LEGO projects and building, students explore key elements of physics and robotics that are transferable to other areas of their learning and life. With only 3 students per group, each child is guaranteed to receive individualized support from exceptional instructors.
