Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.
Step into the world of the Avengers and discover intelligence and cutting-edge science as you complete training to become a S.T.A.T.I.O.N. agent of this exclusive group. Your mission is to delve into the backstories, technology, science, engineering, and genetics of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes: the Avengers! o do so, you will immerse yourself in Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. to see Captain America’s uniform and shield, Bruce Banner’s Laboratory, Vision’s birth cradle, the Hulkbuster armour, Iron Man’s Mark 45 armour, and the suits and weapons of Hawkeye and Black Widow. The future of the planet depends on your success in becoming a S.T.A.T.I.O.N. agent!
Sea to Sky Model Train and Hobby Show
The Railway Museum of BC is hosting a Sea to Sky Model Train and Hobby show this March and you won’t want to miss it. In addition to exploring the museum, visitors can take a ride on the Mini-Rail, ride the Budd Rail Diesel Car to the Repair Shop and participate in RC Car Racing! Children (and adults alike) will love playing with wooden and battery-operated Thomas the Train tables and learning to operate the model trains with sound and animation.
Spring Break at Britannia Mine Museum
Engage the whole family in discovery at the Britannia Mine Museum this Spring Break. Explore a series of fun and educational, family-friendly activities such as Mini Mud Monsters, where participants will learn about the microorganisms that live in our freshwater ecosystems, and the effects of metals and mining on their environments. These drop-in sessions are included with admission.
The Gulf of Georgia Cannery
Learning about fishing history on the West Coast is a blast this Spring Break! Is your family up for the challenge of being a Cannery Owner? Head to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery to learn what it would be like to Be a Cannery Owner for a Day in the twentieth century. Through hands-on, interactive activities, visitors will work their way through the museum with the guide of the Cannery Owner for a Day booklet to explore through the lens of adventure. This activity is best for children 7-14 years old.
Wildlife Weeks at Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre
Spring Break at Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre is filled with wildlife programming encouraging families to get inspired, get educated, and get involved in the world around them! Learn about the rich biodiversity of our planet from the experts who care for wildlife. Ecology Centre Naturalists and guest presenters have arranged two full weeks of programs, workshops, nature walks, and more.
Evergreen Spring Break Festival: DuffleBag Theatre returns this Spring Break for two hilarious and interactive shows. The two shows that will undergo original adaptations this year are Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan.
Spring Break at Burnaby Village Museum: Explore the history that is packed into this 10-acre open-air museum. See how homes and businesses used to look and learn more about the different cultures that helped shape communities like Burnaby.
