My daughter loves art, and neither my husband nor I has a single artistic bone in our body, which means we are often looking elsewhere to support and encourage her love of painting and drawing. There are only so many craft kits and supplies I can stock the house with before she is craving a creative outlet to make her special item. When the rainy days hit, it’s great to be able to drop in and spend an hour or two creating something special. Here are our top drop-in or single-day workshop art studios for kids.
Deconeko Handcraft Studio
I first heard about this cool location from another mom and instantly knew I had to try it out. Each month, Deconeko offers special monthly crafts for only $15. But the catch is that only 27 of each craft are available, so it’s best to book at the beginning of the month. If the monthly craft isn’t your cup of tea, there are other neat craft experiences you can book, and the price ranges depending on what extra pieces or designs you choose.
