The Canmore Folk Music Festival is the longest-running folk music festival in Alberta and one of its finest. It takes place over three days of the Heritage Day long weekend in August and features more than 30 individual acts or performers and a family-friendly site. A special Family Area features clowns and jugglers, crafts, storytellers and much, much more; it’s open Sunday and Monday from 10 am – 4 pm.
