This Canada Day, the City of Calgary is inviting you to celebrate with take-home fun and online activities. There will be a fireworks show and a full day of music, interviews, and entertainment on local radio.

Pick up your free, fun at-home kit at any Calgary Library location (except Rocky Ridge) before Canada Day. Kits include bubbles, beach ball, sidewalk chalk, plant seeds and more.

Tune in to CJSW (90.9FM) for more than 17 hours of music and entertainment for all ages on Canada Day.

Finish your day with a spectacular fireworks show at 11 pm, set off from Tom Campbell’s Hill (the park located at the top of the hill above the Calgary Zoo parking lot to the west). You can listen to a synchronized local music soundtrack on CJSW. If you can see Calgary’s downtown, you will be able to watch the fireworks in-person from your home, yard, sidewalk or neighbourhood. Otherwise, you’re invited to watch the fireworks live stream HERE.
