This Canada Day, gather the family, as the City of Calgary is celebrating all Canadians and what makes us who we are. Learn more about Indigenous culture and enjoy a full day of music, entertainment, and fireworks. There is something for everyone to enjoy this Canada Day!
The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland
Head to The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland (formerly Fort Calgary) this Canada Day for an Indigenous Artisan Market and Indigenous Showcase and Powwow. You’ll also find cultural activities and the Canada Day main stage show with a lineup of musicians.
East Village Street Fair
Celebrate Canada’s birthday at the East Village Street Fair. Visit vendors and food trucks and enjoy music and activities for all ages.
St. Patrick’s Island
Enjoy family-friendly entertainment and the beautiful St. Patrick’s Island. There will be performers, face painting, live music, and more.
Fireworks
End the day with a bang and fireworks from Stampede Park. Watch the fireworks from one of many great viewing areas in the city, where you can see Stampede Park. (There will be no onsite viewing at Stampede Park.) The fireworks will start around 11 PM.
