Summer sunshine, staying active, and meeting new friends? Yes, please! And when your new friends include a sloth or a wallaby, that makes it a summer adventure to remember! Cobb’s Adventure Park offers outdoor excitement in a country environment — without leaving the city. There are so many cool activities, plus amazing animal experiences. This summer, don’t miss a visit to Cobb’s Adventure Park — it’s an easy way to try something new and exciting.

Cobb’s Adventure Park is farm fun for city kids. It’s easy to get to, located just south of Highway 1, on the east edge of Calgary. Kids can burn their energy with terrific outdoor activities, like pedal carts, a giant slide, tractor rides, and more. But it’s also home to a variety of amazing animal experiences! The Kangaroo Petting Zoo is a main event, and you can also visit sloths, snakes, bunnies, ferrets, porcupines, and so many more animals. And as much as we love summer fun, be sure to come back for the pumpkin patch in the fall!

While the Park is only open on weekends in the spring and fall, you’ll enjoy more opportunities to play in the summer. From July 1 – August 31, 2026, Cobb’s Adventure Park is open Wednesdays to Sundays, and the August holiday Monday, from 11 AM – 5 PM. (There is one exception: they are closed on Sunday, August 16, 2026, for a private event.)

It’s time to pack a picnic (or bring some money for the food trucks – including ice cream, cotton candy, and mini donuts!), grab the kids, and head to Cobb’s Adventure Park! Add some active excitement to your family fun this summer.

Laughing over family memories, cuddling with wallabies? We’re checking it off the summer bucket list!
