Fort Calgary has a rich history as a place of significance for Indigenous Peoples and is where the North West Mounted Police established Fort Calgary in 1875. The site is located on 40 acres of natural land on the Bow and Elbow rivers where many significant archaeological finds have been made — Fort Calgary was declared a national historic site in 1925.

In addition to many great events, you can enjoy Films at the Fort this holiday season. Tickets are $12 (plus fees) and include popcorn and admission to the interpretive centre. Additional snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Here’s what’s coming up.
