Learning doesn’t stop during the summer! When passions ignite, learning is a natural outcome of creativity, exploration, and immense possibility. Our kids and teens are capable of so much more than we imagine. They are bursting with energy and ideas, and it’s a perceptive parent who provides opportunities for their child’s growth and independence. Ten Peaks summer camps focus on these opportunities, guiding kids through real-life issues to practical solutions.

Ten Peaks is a group of “entrepreneurs, innovators, change-makers, conversationalists, educators, and big thinkers” who strive to inspire and educate Alberta’s youth as our future leaders. They work to equip students to innovate and learn about technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship as it relates to energy, agriculture, and the environment. It’s about practical solutions to improve Alberta’s future.

Ten Peaks Robotics Summer Camps

Did you know Alberta has the highest level of food scarcity in the country? If you have kids aged 12 – 15, it’s time for them to bring their energy and big ideas to a Ten Peaks summer camp they won’t forget!

Bot Basics and Beyond: Innovate and Apply Solutions to Food Scarcity and Insecurity is a summer camp like no other. Here, kids will get their “tech on” and turn their minds to the real-world problem of food scarcity, as they are introduced to sustainability and real-world entrepreneurs.

In this hands-on STEM camp, kids will learn about concepts behind sustainability, ag and agri-food technologies, automation, and design thinking. Experts in their fields will introduce SMART farming concepts, helping campers navigate as they code and design a robotic solution to food scarcity. Three guest speakers will offer insight on agri-tech, robotics, and real-world sustainability practices. Campers will work in teams with like-minded kids, using a proprietary curriculum developed by an award-winning teacher.

What makes this camp different from other STEM robotics camps? Your kids will thrive as their ideas and work are validated to help ensure people don’t go hungry!

This camp runs August 10 – 14, 2026, at the U of C Innovation Hub. These are half-day camps, but you can also register for the whole day. (Be sure to pack a lunch if your child is there all day.) But register soon, as the camp is limited to only 20 campers.
