Are you ready for a trip around the world?! GlobalFest is back from August 27 – 30, 2026, and it will be bigger and better than ever at its new home, Spruce Meadows. Besides the iconic international fireworks, you’ll find expanded cultural programming and experiences, delicious global flavours, and amazing drone shows.
What is GlobalFest?
For more than 2 decades, GlobalFest has brought us together through community, culture, food, and fireworks. Formerly held at Elliston Park, GlobalFest faced operational demands and the complexity of such a large event. The move to Spruce Meadows helps ensure that one of Calgary’s favourite summer traditions will continue.
OneWorld Festival Presented by TD: You’ll want to come early for the OneWorld festival before the fireworks. It’s an opportunity to travel the world through food, art, cultural performances, and more! You’ll find kids’ activities and delightful experiences around every corner.
Fireworks: Each evening at GlobalFest is themed for a different culture. Japan opens the festival on August 27, followed by Mexico on August 28. Italy features on August 29, and the GlobalFinale closing celebration is on August 30. Pick one night – or visit them all! Each evening will be unique, vibrant, and unforgettable.
