From Juggling to Aerials to Swashbuckling: Green Fools Theatre Summer Camps

Does your child want some excitement this summer? Maybe a chance to try something new? Then it’s the perfect time for them to run away and join the circus! Green Fools Theatre is offering circus summer camps for aspiring performers. Camps include circus skills from basic juggling and balancing to tightwire and aerial skills. They can even learn sword fighting this year! With small class sizes and one-on-one instruction, kids will learn new skills and achieve amazing things.

Green Fools Theatre circus programs offer kids a chance to enjoy a fun and unique activity. These programs are for all kids with an interest in the circus, even those who have never imagined what they could accomplish, and the camps are suitable for kids of all abilities. Kids will learn new skills in a safe and supportive environment; they will challenge themselves, burn their energy, and build confidence as they master new achievements.

All Things Circus Camp

Let your kids run away and join the circus this summer! Or at least the All Things Circus Camp at Green Fools. Kids will get to experience a whole lot of circus in this week-long camp, including juggling, plate spinning, diabolo, flower sticks, rola-bola, poi, unicycle, stilt walking, tight wire, slackline, acrobatics, walking barrels and aerial skills. Of course, all these new skills need a show! A circus demo for the parents will be presented on Friday afternoon from 3 – 4 pm.

July 15 – 19, 2024: 9 – 12 years old
July 29 – August 2, 2024: 9 – 12 years old
August 19 – 23, 2024: 6 – 8 years old

Summer Pirate Camp

What about running away to be a pirate?! Green Fools is offering a summer Pirate Camp this summer, where your kids can learn to sword fight, read treasure maps, and become swashbucklers. This camp will focus on fun, friendship, and growth. It’s ideal for kids who want to explore their creativity and learn new skills in a supportive and safe environment. At the end of the week, they’ll put on a show for the parents on Friday afternoon from 3 – 4 pm.

Aerial Intensive Training

This intensive program is designed to immerse campers in aerial training. They will focus on Trapeze, Hoop, and Silks technique, strength and flexibility training, plus act creation. They will work on aerial techniques and create a performance to present to parents on Friday afternoon from 3 – 4 pm.
