Kids love PD days and spring break days. It’s time off school and a chance to stay in your pajamas, play games, or get together with a friend. But what do you do when Mom and Dad have work schedules to manage? Don’t worry! MRU Camps has a camp for that — a high-quality day camp your kids will love!
MRU Camps has been offering educational camps in Calgary for decades. Their educated and professional staff are well-equipped to adapt to the needs of their campers, so they can provide an environment where children can thrive and develop. Day camps at MRU Camps are for kids in grades 1 to 6, with options for all interests. Kids can create something amazing, stay active, and connect with their community. Groups are divided by age and are designed to ensure an enjoyable experience. All camps include daily movement and physical literacy activities, such as climbing. Camps run from 9 AM – 4 PM with complimentary before and after care available.
PD Day Camps
Wondering what camp your child will love best? Most PD Days have two options, depending on a child’s age. Here’s what’s coming up!
It’s time to be an Arctic Explorer! Kids can embrace winter on an (indoor) Arctic adventure on January 30, 2026.
Young makers and inventors will get creative in Mini Makers and Inventor’s Lab on February 12 – 13, 2026.
On February 27, 2026, younger grades can go Into the Wild, while older kids will show the world who the Puzzle Masters are!

Camps on April 24, 2026, offer an EcoVenture, and once spring really arrives on May 15, 2026, day camps include Little Sprouts and Hearts in Action.
Spring Break Camps
Are you interested in spring break camps? MRU Camps has those, too, because spring break is a time to play, discover, and explore! Whether you need a camp during the CBE break (March 23 – 27, 2025) or the CSSD break (April 7 – 10, 2025), kids in grades 1 – 6 will find creative, active, exciting camps!
CBE Break: Kids in the public system can register for the following camps. Superheroes and Colour Splash are available for children in grades 1 – 3. Kids in grades 4 – 6 can check out Endless Spring or Game On.
CSSD Break: Children in the Catholic school system can register for Colour Splash (grades 1 -3) 0r Game On (grades 4 – 6).
Registration opens November 17, 2025, to keep kids active and engaged all week long! Be sure to secure your spot in the next MRU day camp. Then get ready for a day of discovery, play, and wonder!
