And more than all that, this fall, you can also give your support to young superheroes at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. It’s all waiting for you with the Pumpkin Fest at the Blue Grass Garden Centre. Who’s ready for a smashing good time?!
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the legendary Pumpkin Fest at Blue Grass Nursery and Garden Centre. Taking place on October 7, 2023, this is such a fun family event, that even the scarecrows are joining in! Filled with pumpkins and kid-favourite activities, all proceeds from the Pumpkin Fest will be given in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. We can help ensure that children can get the care they need during crucial times. Entry is by donation, and a suggested donation of $10 per person is appreciated.
This year’s Pumpkin Fest promises to be the most spectacular one yet! Kids can get their faces painted and go on a pony ride. Get lost in the straw maze, go on a hay ride, and shop at the market. Play games, carve a pumpkin, and buy lunch from the food trucks. Maybe someone will be brave enough to enter the Hot Pepper Contest! Be sure to stay until the grand finale pumpkin drop, for an epic smash up!
