Summer is the time for laughing, running, and playing outside. It’s the time for kids to leave their desks and get a chance to move, challenge themselves, and burn their energy. This July and August, WinSport at Canada Olympic Park is the perfect destination for kids aged 4 to 17, with a variety of exciting and active summer camps. Good things happen when kids stop watching and start playing, so give your kids an adventure they’ll remember all year long! They’ll have heaps of fun and come home tuckered out.

At WinSport, you’ll find everything from hockey, biking, and sports starting as young as age 4 to outdoor leadership for teenagers. WinSport summer camps cater to a diversity of kids’ interests and abilities. With new combo camps like Rinks & Links and Bikes & Blades, your kids will find these active camps will engage their interest and offer appropriate challenges. Most camps are full days, but the littlest ones will enjoy half-day camps.

WinSport puts a lot of energy and research into creating the very best summer camps for kids. They aim to build athleticism and a foundation of fundamental movement skills by providing children with intentional and exceptional instruction and the right skills at the correct time.  All camps include developing physical skills as well as building confidence, leadership, compassion, imagination, and creativity. Regardless of which camp you and your child choose, all kids have the opportunity to challenge themselves with the amazing facilities at WinSport. Parents can have confidence that all instructors are highly experienced in their fields and have all the necessary emergency skills. Each camp is unique and your kids will challenge themselves in ways you never thought possible, but always in a safe environment.

Mountain Biking Camps — If you have a child who loves the bike or wants to build some skills so they can have more fun on the trails, take a look at the mountain biking camps at WinSport. Kids ages 4 – 17 will find exciting terrain to traverse and they’ll develop important riding skills for a lifetime of enjoyment.

Outdoor Adventure Camps — The Outdoor Adventure Camps at WinSport will launch kids ages 4 – 15 into exploring the world through hands-on activities, nature games, and play. They will get muddy, stay curious, and discover the bugs, plants, and fun in our own backyards. The older kids will focus on Outdoor Leadership and there’s also an Archery Camp.

WinSport Summer Camps (Family Fun Calgary)

Sport Camps — If your child (ages 4 – 11) wants to try a bit of everything, you’ll want to look at the sporty Summer Sampler! Each day they’ll explore the outdoors and try new sports with the best of the sport and wilderness camps. But kids can also take a Basketball Camp (ages 9 – 14) or a Trisport Camp (ages 6 – 11) that includes basketball, volleyball, and gagaball.

Ice-Based Camps — Kids ages 4 – 12 can discover and grow their love for hockey in a friendly, engaging environment with the WinSport Hockey Camps, which include on and off-ice sessions. Need to learn how to skate first? Kids ages 6 – 12 can enroll in the Skate Camps and WinSport also offers a Girls Only Hockey Camp and a Ringette Camp. Interested in hockey, but looking for some diversity? Kids ages 9 – 12 years can register in Sticks and Stones, for hockey and rock climbing, or Rinks and Links, for hockey and golf. Or, consider Bikes and Blades (ages 7 – 12) for hockey and biking. Tri Ice Sport will allow 9 and 10-year-olds to enjoy luge, sledge hockey, and skating.
