Summer is the perfect time for a little adventure and fun in the summer sun! Your kids will find this and a whole lot more at Wymbin summer camps, where good things are growing in the heart of Inglewood! Through yoga, mindfulness, and engaging in nature, kids will learn about community and develop a sense of belonging, while deepening their connection to self, others, nature, and the world around us with summer camps at Wymbin.
Wymbin is a youth education and wellness studio, located in Inglewood. They aim to elevate the well-being of youth by teaching the tools needed to gain confidence, build strength and resilience, and develop healthy, lifelong habits. They also recognize that each child is unique and everyone experiences and looks at the world differently.
Summer camps at Wymbin focus on nature, mindfulness, and movement, all while taking the campers on an adventure. With a safe, nurturing, and loving space, children will have the freedom to truly be themselves. They will grow and flourish through adventures led by a team of certified Wymbin educators and will create lifelong memories while they enjoy their experiences.
KINDer Camp (ages 3 – 5 years)
Little campers, from ages 3 – 5 years, will enjoy a KINDer Camp from 9 AM – 12 PM, for a morning of play and learning. They’ll find exciting themes like Under the Sea, Space Explorer, Mini Creators, Dino Adventure, and more. This program uses experiential learning to teach the importance of being kind to ourselves, others, and our planet. Campers learn how to positively play and build relationships with new friends while developing social and emotional growth.
Camp Wymbin (5 – 10 years)
Are your kids ready for a full day of fun? Camp Wymbin is ready for them! Kids ages 5 – 10 years can attend from 9 AM – 5 PM, and they’ll enjoy cool themes like STEM Explorers, Creative Sparks, Under the Stars, Ocean Exploration, and more. Campers will have opportunities to explore and experience nature, mindfulness, creativity, and yoga first-hand through experiential fun and learning.
Wymbin campers can also get ready for an urban adventure. The camp is based in the community of Inglewood, so there is no shortage of spots to explore! With access to parks and green spaces in the neighbourhood, summer camps will include visits to lots of playgrounds and outdoor places. Just as summer should be!
