The Calgary Stampeders Family Day Game, presented by The United Way, is one of the biggest (and most fun!) events in the Stampeders season. On Sunday, July 23, 2023, the Calgary Stampeders are hosting the Ottawa Redblacks for an experience filled with family-friendly entertainment. Whether or not your family loves football, this Family Day Game is a memorable and exciting experience for everyone, with extra activities both before and after the game. Of course, if you love football, it’s the perfect chance to get your kids hooked on the game, too.
Before the Game
Kickoff to the Family Day Game is at 5 pm, but you’ll want to come early for the Family Tailgate Party at the Gridiron Gardens. The Gridiron Gardens open at 3 pm in the South Practice Field. Families of all ages will enjoy a variety of activities, including bouncy castles, face painting, giveaways, and more. From the littlest fans-to-be to teens to Mom and Dad, it’s time to enjoy.
During the Game
The Stampeders place a high priority on family and fun. For those seeking a family-friendly, alcohol-free area in the stadium, the Stampeders have a special section called the Family Fun Zone. Here, tickets start at just $20, plus applicable fees and taxes, offering you one of the best prices in the entire stadium. This zone ensures a safe and enjoyable environment for families to cheer on the red and white.
After the Game
Don’t leave when the game is over! No matter who wins, the fun continues. After the final whistle, all fans will have the opportunity to step onto the field and create lasting memories with friends or family.
